Bourbon Balsamic Glazed Salt and Pepper Ribs

Makes: 4 servings


  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tbsp MyOlive Chipotle Olive Oil
  • 2 racks pork back ribs, silverskin removed, each rack halved
  • 1/2 cup MyOlive Maple Bourbon Balsamic Condimento


In bowl, stir together salt, brown sugar, black pepper and garlic powder.

Preheat oven to 275F. Line 2 regular (or 1 extra-large) rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.

Arrange ribs on prepared baking sheets. Sprinkle with salt and pepper mixture; rub to coat. Drizzle with MyOlive Chipotle Olive Oil.

Cover with foil; bake until fork tender, about 4 hours.

Meanwhile, in small pot, simmer balsamic on low, scraping bottom with spatula until reduced by half, about 10-15 minutes. Note: when spatula draws a clear line across bottom of pot, reduction is ready.

When ribs are ready, transfer to grill set to medium heat. Brush with balsamic reduction, close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes. Brush again and repeat until completely glazed. Serve immediately.
